As a specialized EPC contractor, we offer our customers design, project management, and construction services from a single source through Equans Process Solutions. By overlapping the design and construction phases, projects can be implemented extremely quickly and efficiently—a decisive factor in dynamic markets such as pharmaceuticals and microelectronics. Our teams have all the expertise required for the implementation of industrial plants, from process design, prefabrication, construction, and commissioning to qualification.

Equans Process Solutions combines key competencies: engineering (feasibility, design, project management, and sustainable engineering), process equipment (manufacturing, installation, and industrial transfer of equipment), supply and process environment (clean & dry concept, special fluids and processes, air treatment, HVAC, electricity, and hydrogen), industrial services, and maintenance. Equans Process Solutions' design & build solution creates concrete operational synergies, reduces interfaces, ensures technical and operational continuity, and optimizes project management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for establishing and managing the joint venture with responsibility for results
  • Identification and development of new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Active acquisition and long-term retention of customers, suppliers, and employees, in particular through a resilient network in the pharmaceutical and/or semiconductor industry
  • Establishment and management of efficient structures and processes within the organization
  • Further development and implementation of the business plan and the overarching corporate strategy with a focus on sustainable growth and market positioning
  • Development of in-house expertise in the sense of an integrated “design & build” approach
  • Management and coordination of cross-functional teams to achieve goals

Your profile:

  • Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or engineering—ideally with a focus on the pharmaceutical or semiconductor industry
  • Proven professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering principles or relevant technologies
  • Several years of experience in managing companies or business units with responsibility for results
  • Proven expertise in the implementation of EPC projects
  • Strong network in the life sciences/pharmaceutical or semiconductor industry market segments
  • Business fluent German and English skills; additional language skills (e.g., French) are an advantage
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, combined with analytical strength
  • Convincing personality with a “developer gene”
  • High customer orientation, strong communication skills, and a hands-on mentality
